A wedding in the Scottish Episcopal Church is a joyous and wonderful occasion, the marriage service contains a great variety of choice for each individual couple to make their special day their own.
We off 4 beautiful churches in magnificent surroundings, each has its own character and ambiance. Some are small and intimate, others suitable for larger weddings, but which ever you may choose, be assured that each brings its own special magic to your special occasion and from 2024 we can offer outdoor weddings in the Serenity Garden at Holy Trinity.
Arrangements can be made through our charge Wedding Co-ordinator Mrs Gina Charleson for Flowers, Organist and Piper.
We also offer services of blessing after a civil marriage and services for the renewal of Marriage Vows.

Same Sex Marriage
Since December 2014 in Scotland same-sex couples have been enabled to enter into marriage on an equal basis with others, and in June 2017 the Scottish Episcopal Church voted at General Synod to allow all marriages, including same-sex marriage within its churches, at the same time the church recognises that not all of its members accept the principle of equal marriage, and clergy and congregations are under no obligation to ‘opt in’ to celebrating same-sex marriages.
We are pleased to be able to celebrate equal marriage in 3 of our 4 churches using our Marriage Liturgy and according to the same requirements as other marriages and offer a warm welcome to all couples who would like to celebrate their Union in church.
Our Rector will be happy to meet you to arrange your wedding and to help you prepare for it. To find out more, please contact the Rector, Revd Canon Liz Baker.
