In Holy Baptism the infant, child or adult becomes a part of the worldwide family of those who follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

For those not of age to make their own promises, parents, along with Godparents or sponsors, may offer them on their behalf with the understanding that a child will be brought up within the life of the Church.

Immersed in water or by the pouring over of the water, the person is received into a new life with God.

Blessings and/or naming ceremonies are also available for infants and small children.
